JOHN PERFITT
With more than a quarter century of experience in community development and affordable housing, John Perfitt is focused on multifamily initiatives for the LABBC, as well as LADWP’s Water and Energy Resource Center. An active real estate practitioner and an early advocate for sustainable development, he is also an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California and, as founder of Restore Neighborhoods LA, an active member and volunteer in our local L.A. neighborhoods.
John is driven by a persistent desire to make L.A. apartment buildings more energy efficient, better to live in and less costly to operate. A father of three, he is a transplant from the Midwest (Michigan), turned L.A. booster, who enjoys coaching youth sports, seeing live music, playing basketball and picking his guitar or mandolin when possible.
