Hines will discuss their battery-storage system which they piloted at a property in California to help efficiently regulate the energy flow from the grid, avoiding peak rates. Additionally, Kilroy Realty Corporation, and LABBC Partner, will discuss how they’ve implemented 9 battery storage system projects with a total capacity of 4.6 MW. KRC installed the batteries to ease strain on the grid as California moves to an all-renewable electric energy portfolio, as well as increase Net Operating Income at their buildings.
