September 28, 2016: From Grey-water to Ground Water — New Ways to Realize Big Water Savings in Your Cooling Towers

According to industry experts, cooling towers account for an average of 40% or more of a building’s water demand. But with state-of-the-art treatment it is often possible to reduce consumption significantly, and even make use of grey-water and ground-water to reduce potable water use even further.

In this webinar, industry experts will discuss methods for realizing water savings and concentrate specifically on the benefits of cost effective water treatment solutions for cooling towers. The webinar will also provide an overview of LADWP’s Technical Assistance Program, detailing what the requirements are for owners and contractors, which data is needed, and which types of projects qualify.

Panelists will also share updates on the most recent technologies for managing indoor water use and irrigation, and LABBC Technical Advisors will provide information regarding free technical support offered by the LABBC.
