Managing Director, Operations

With a background in operations, strategy and communications at public, private and nonprofit organizations, Renee Daigneault brings more than 12 years of experience to the LABBC. In her role as managing director of operations, she over sees day-to-day operations of the LA Better Buildings program and the Resource Center. 

Renee began her work in the field of sustainability at the San Diego Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, where she led a utility-funded program to green existing buildings and provide hands-on green jobs training. Her experience also includes roles in operations and policy development as part of the Mayor of Los Angeles’ Operations Innovation Team and the South Bay Cities Council of Governments.  

A LEED Green Associate, Renee earned her MBA from the University of San Diego and is an active volunteer for the Beach Cities Health District Livability Committee and a member of the Sierra Club.
