The W2 Challenge is BOMA International’s ground-breaking two-year initiative to support the commercial real estate sector in benchmarking water and waste consumption and improving performance. We were joined by Maya Henderson, Kilroy Realty’s Director of Sustainability, and Jasmine Lomax, Verdani Partners’ Sustainability Manager, to learn about the Los Angeles region’s progress over the program’s first year, including case studies on how their participation has resulted in measurable reduction in water and waste.

Key Takeaways:

  • 500M GSF of buildings enrolled in W2 Challenge – 30M GSF in LA
  • LA Buildings use 33% less water than US average
  • Get Recognitionsubmit your projects by 12/31/19
  • It’s not too late to participate!
